In this update, the focus is primarily on the push-to-talk function. It is now also available via the dashboard, and more push-to-talk channels are available instead of just one.

Below you will find more information about this.

We understand that central operators play a crucial role within our customer base. Often, calls are made from a central location, such as the Safeguard dashboard. This typically happens from a reception or control room. For this reason, Push-to-Talk is now also available in the dashboard. This allows dashboard users to easily see who is involved in an incident and use Push-to-Talk, just like in the app.

Additionally, we now offer the option to use multiple channels in the Push-to-Talk function. Each call has its own Push-to-Talk channel, and there are 3 extra channels available by default. Within the Push-to-Talk channel, you can easily switch channels by tapping the top window. This is particularly useful when coordination in a smaller group is needed during an incident or when multiple calls are happening simultaneously.
