Using the crisismanager module, you can add your crisismanagers to your Safeguard environment. Once they are set up, you can warn or alert them via the Safeguard app, even if they are not on one of your Safeguard locations.

Notifying crisismanagers

You can notify your crisismanagers about an alert that has been sent out to one of your Safeguard locations. This notification will only be send as information and does not require any immediate action. When the notification is received, the phone will start vibrating, no audio will be heard. There are two ways to notify your crisismanagers:

1. Manually when sending an alert

When you alert your emergency responders via the dashboard, you can use the checkbox to notify the crisismanagers. When this checkbox is checked, the crisismanagers will be warned about the alert sent to the emergency responders. They will see the specific information that has been sent out with the alert.

2. Via a predefined scenario for emergency responders

You can also notify your crisismanagers using a new or existing scenario for your emergency responders. Navigate to 'Administration' > 'Scenario's' and edit a scenario. In the image below you can see the specific checkbox that has to be checked in order to notify the crisismanagers. When this scenario is used to alert emergency responders, the crisismanagers will be notified via their Safeguard app.

Alerting crisismanagers

You can also alert your crisismanagers in case of an incident or calamity. This alert will cause the Safeguard app to beep and vibrate and will overrule any silent or do not disturb mode. When a crisismanager receives this alert, the app will ask if the app user will accept or decline the alert.

1. Sending an alert to crisismanagers from the dashboard without using a scenario

Crisismanagers can be alerted directly from the dashboard. Click on the 'Alert users' button in the top right en select 'crisismanagers' within the type selection. You can also select a specific location for which the crisismanagers have to be alerted.

The following screen will allow you to add a specific message to the alert with relevant information. After typing in the message the alert can be sent out. Note that they will receive the alert, no matter their current location.

2. Sending an alert via the dashboard using a specific scenario for crisismanagers

The creation of scenario's for crisismanagers is also possible. You can create these via 'Administration' > 'Scenario's'.

Select 'Crisismanagers' in the user type selection, enter the desired information and press 'Save'.

If you want to send out an alert using this scenario, click on the 'Alarm users' button in the top left and select 'crisismanagers' within the type selection, just as you would without using a scenario. You can now select a scenario.

After selecting a scenario you can enter additional information to send to your crisismanagers. You can now send the alert.
