Locations within Safeguard are intended to provide the app users with automatic presence registration. You can add different locations that use a GPS zone (Geofencing) to ensure that the emergency responders are automatically present and available for alarms.

Add location

In the location tab you will see an overview of the locations accessible to you. Click on 'Add' to add a location. The following information is requested:

Name: This is the name of the location as it appears in the presence overview. App users present will also see this location at the top of the app.

Emergency number: You can enter the emergency number used at your location here. However, this must be a standard length phone number (no internal numbers), as it must be accessible from a mobile phone.

Neighbours to be warned in emergency situations: If you tick this checkbox, you can add names and mobile phone numbers of, for example, Chief ER officers of neighbouring organisations. When a report of fire / evacuation is made within your Safeguard environment, they can be notified by SMS.

Sectors: Here you can enter the address of your new Safeguard location. Suggestions will automatically be displayed based on the address entered. Click on the correct suggestion and then the map will jump to the correct location. Then click on add sector to put a geofence around it; within this location the app users will automatically be present within Safeguard.
