In multi-tenant buildings, it may occur that multiple organizations use the Safeguard app and are linked to each other.
This enables collaboration during emergency response (BHV) incidents.
By default, the names of emergency responders from other organizations are displayed anonymously.
This can be made visible if desired. Safeguard discusses this with each organisation’s administrator. Upon agreement, an option will be added to the Safeguard app allowing each user to disable 'data masking' individually. Your name will then be visible to responders from other organizations.
Below are the steps to change this setting in your own app:
Open the Safeguard app
Go to the 'Profile' screen
Tap on 'Preferences'
Tap the new 'Privacy' button
Enable the option 'Let other organisations on your location see who you are'
From now on, other app users from the organisations in the building will see your name in the presence overview and the push-to-talk channel.
