Your Safeguard application may be inactive. This can happen, for example, if the app has not been opened for a long time. To remedy this, you can do the following:

1. Open the app on your smartphone and check whether the app is available (provided you are on location). If you are automatically registered as 'present', the app functions properly and you do not need to take any further action.

2. Download the latest update from the App Store.
